Another early photograph; This one was taken mid year 2006 at South Street Seaport on an overcast morning. The 60+ crew of this coast guard ship welcomed me as they prepared to cast off and I snapped off a couple hundred shots with them only to discover later that my microdrive corrupted half of the entire set.
Thank God this one survived. Number one is the quality and tones/colors this shot. Definetly professional. I like how although the sun is overhead, there's still a glow above the horizon. Which lens was this? 17-40? The f/16 looks so sharp. I'm wondering if the 17-40 loses sharpness at smaller apertures due to diffraction.

Stunning, the lines are fantastic. I am a great lover of lines. The sun through the clouds gives a great feeling too.

I remember this. You cut half a day of school to go shooting and left your iso at 800. but nevertheless this shot is great, and in my opinion, worth cutting school for. who needs school anyway.

Lines are nice as everyone else has said. This has a very nice tonality to it and, for me at least, some sense of subdued motion.
